Summary:
On April 4th 2007, at about 12:36 AM., Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a green Chevrolet Caviler near the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 229. Deputy Sorby turned his emergency overhead lights on and the vehicle fled. The vehicle was being operated by Brandon Boyanovsky, 19, of Toledo. After a few miles Boyanovsky lost control of the vehicle and crashed at the intersection of Highway 20 and Pioneer Mountain Loop. Boyanovsky fled the crash scene on foot leaving his passengers behind. The next day Boyanovsky was found and arrested. Boyanovsky was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail with his bail set at $130,000.00
