Summary:
On March 14th, 2007 at about 7:43 p.m. Deputy Cummings of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office observed a white motorcycle traveling north on U.S. Hwy 101 near mile post 162 at a speed of 84 mph in a posted 55 mph speed zone. Deputy Cummings stopped the motorcycle near mile post 160 and made contact with the driver, identified as Christopher A. Blaylock, age 44 of Waldport, Oregon. Mr. Blaylock displayed several signs of impairment and Deputy Cummings conducted a DUII investigation. Mr. Blaylock was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged. Mr. Blaylock's motorcycle was Impounded. Mr. Blaylock received a traffic citation for Driving While Suspended (violation), speeding, Failure to carry proof of insurance, failure to carry vehicle registration and switched registration stickers on his license plate. Mr. Blaylock also received a citation for refusing to provide a breath sample.
