Summary:
On March 12th, 2007 at about 11:56 p.m. Deputy Cummings observed a red Nissan Stanza traveling south on U.S. Hwy 101 near SW Pacific Sands Dr perform a traffic violation. Deputy Cummings conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as William A. Davis, age 63 of Waldport, Oregon. During the contact with Mr. Davis Deputy Cummings observed several signs of impairment. Deputy Cummings conducted a DUII investigation and arrested Mr. Davis for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Davis' vehicle was impounded and Mr. Davis was transported to the Lincoln County jail. Mr. Davis provided a breath sample and his BAC was measured at .09%. Mr. Davis was lodged at the jail.
