Summary:
On March 5, 2007, at approximately 6:50 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy David Boys was dispatched to the Cherryhill Trailer Park, space #18, on report of a suicidal male. Deputy Boys responded and investigated the incident. Deputy Boys learned the suicidal male, James Scott Buck, 33 of Otis, had threatened a family member at space #18 and coerced the same person to make a phone call. With the assistance of Oregon State Police Trooper Plummer and Lincoln City Police Officer Eskridge, Deputy Boys contacted Buck and took him into custody without further incident. Buck was transported to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged for Coercion, Menacing and Harassment, bail set at $37,500.
