Summary:
On February 10th, at about 12:30 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies Sorby and Boys were on patrol in the area of Logan Rd. and NE 69th St., Lincoln City, and noticed several minors gathered, that had apparently been drinking. They suspected a minor alcohol party was taking place at a residence nearby where other minors were seen. Sheriff's Deputies, assisted by Lincoln City Police Officers Blakely and Winn, went to 1845 NE 69th St. and contacted Rachel N. Lorusso-Godlove, 18, of Salem. Lorusso-Godlove told the officers she rented the house for the weekend and was having a party. Deputies Sorby and Boys contacted the rest of the people in the house and found 16 other minors that had been drinking, nine of which were under 18 years old. All of the minors were issued citations for Minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. Parents of the minors under 18 were notified of the incident. Lorusso-Godlove was also issued a citation for providing a place for minors to consume alcohol. The deputies disposed of
the remaining alcohol.
