Summary:
On February 4, 2007 at about 4:30 PM Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies Abbey Dorsey, Colon Teem and Barry Bruster responded to a domestic disturbance in the Bayshore area of Waldport. Carl Stewart, age 66 of Waldport, was reported to have pointed a .357 magnum handgun at his girlfriend and threatened to kill her. Stewart left the area and was contacted by Deputy Bruster at 125 SE Midge Lane, Waldport. Deputy Bruster conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of Stewart for Menacing, Pointing a firearm at Another, Unlawful use of a Firearm, and Interfering with Making a Police Report. Stewart was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on a bail of $47,500.
