Location: NE 50th St. , Neotsu

Summary:

On January 03, 2007 at about 6:30 PM Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy John Beckwith responded to the North Lincoln Hospital regarding a report of an injured toddler. Further investigation revealed that, a 16 month old Neotsu girl, was run over by a vehicle in the driveway of her home. Her mother was unloading groceries from one of the family vehicles when her father moved the other vehicle. Apparently, during the process the toddler had walked out of the residence and had gotten behind the vehicle that her father was pulling out of the driveway. The toddler sustained broken ribs and other internal injuries. She was transported to Emanuel Hospital in Portland where she is making a full recovery.
