Location:	SW Abbey St and U.S. Hwy 101 in Newport, Oregon

Summary:

On December 20, 2006 at about 1:31 a.m. Deputy Cummings observed a blue, four door, 1994 BMW 325i make a left hand turn off of SW Abbey St. onto U.S. Hwy 101 in Newport, Oregon without using a turn signal. Deputy Cummings stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, identified as Marc E. Sprague Jr., age 42 from Portland, Oregon. Deputy Cummings observed signs of impairment and conducted a DUII Investigation. Mr. Sprague was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged. Mr. Sprague Jr. refused to provide a breath sample. Mr. Sprague's bail was set at $7,500.00.

The 1994 BMW driven by Mr. Sprague was impounded and Mr. Sprague also received a citation for unlawful possession of less than an ounce of Marijuana.
