DUII Arrest following traffic crash

Summary:
On November 25, 2006 Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Bruce McGuire was called for a single vehicle crash involving a car that drove off the roadway and into Big Elk River near MP 12 on Harlan Rd. The driver of the vehicle, Tracy Bearden, age 34 of Toledo, made it out of the car with the help of a young male who happened to be near the crash site. Bearden was contacted at her home and found to have and odor of alcohol on her breath. Bearden agreed to field sobriety tests and was found to be impaired. Bearden was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail where she submitted to a breath test. The test showed a blood alcohol content of .16%. Bearden was also found to be driving while suspended. Bearden was charged with DUII and Driving while Suspended. Bearden was lodged on $7500.00 bail.
