Summary:
On November 22nd, 2006 the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received a report of a possible domestic disturbance at an apartment complex on Collins St. in Depoe Bay. Deputy Beckwith responded and learned that John Alexander Bender, age 30, of Depoe Bay, was involved in a physical altercation at the residence with his live-in girlfriend. The altercation was of such intensity that Bender's girlfriend was placed in fear for her physical safety. Deputy Beckwith took Bender into custody and lodged him in the Lincoln County Jail on one count of menacing. Bender's bail was set at $7,500.
