Summary:

On 09/26/06 Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received complaints of numerous checks written to several Lincoln County businesses. The checks were written on closed accounts with Sterling Savings Bank in Eugene, Oregon in the names of Alethea and Eddie Baguaio.

Alethea Maria Baguiao, 26 years old and Eddie Guillermo Baguaio, 30 years of age are brother and sister from Veneta, Oregon. Sterling Savings Bank reported that Buguaio's altered a check from an account with Key Bank. The check was used to open accounts with Sterling Savings Bank. Upon discovery the accounts were closed by the bank. Between August 2006 and September 2006, Alethea and Eddie Baguaio wrote checks from two closed accounts to businesses in Newport and Depoe Bay.
