Summary:
An investigation by Detective Quentin Bendel of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office ended on October 26, 2006 when the Lincoln County Grand Jury indicted contractor Asa Hurley, a 55 years old Salem resident on two counts of Aggravated Theft I, one count of Burglary I, one count of Burglary II, and four counts of Theft I after Hurley allegedly contracted jobs for pay and never completed them. Asa Hurley was arrested at his residence in Salem by the Salem Police Department in the early morning hours of November 02, 2006, and was lodged at the Marion County Jail. Hurley was transported and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on November 02, 2006. His bail is set at $270,000.00.
