Summary:

On October 24, 2006 Jonathan Ryan age 24 of Newport, was an inmate in the Lincoln County Jail. Ryan was seen by Dep. Ryan Miner slamming the handset of the phone against the phone’s base. Dep. Miner also observed Ryan throw the handset causing it to break from the phone’s base and fly across the pod. Dep. Kurtz conducted an investigation and charged Ryan with 2 counts of Criminal Mischief II and Obstruction of Governmental or Judicial Administration. Bail is set at 55,000 dollars.
