Summary:

On October 23, 2006 the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office took a stolen vehicle report from George R. Galstaun of South Beach, Oregon. Mr. Galstaun reported that Jennifer K. Kirkland, age 23 of Toledo, Oregon was intoxicated and had taken his vehicle without permission. Mr. Galstaun also reported Ms. Kirkland had taken cash from his residence.

On October 24, 2006 at about 3:23 a.m. Mr. Glastaun called back and reported Kirkland had returned to his residence with his car. Deputy Cummings responded to the area and made contact with Kirkland. Deputy Cummings observed Kirkland displayed signs of impairment. Upon completing a DUII investigation Deputy Cummings arrested Kirkland and transported her to the Lincoln County Jail. Kirkland provided a breath sample and her BAC was measured at .11%.

Kirkland was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on charges of DUII, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Theft II. Kirkland's bail was set at $40,000.
