Summary:
On 10/20/06 at about 1:30 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Abby Dorsey was dispatched to a report of four to five intoxicated subjects walking in the area of the Waldport Seafood Company in Waldport. It was reported that one of the subjects had walked on the decoy police car while it was parked at the intersection of Highway 101 and NW Maple St. Deputy Dorsey located damage on the police car.
At about 2:40 p.m. Deputy Dorsey made contact with Aaron Choat, age 22, of Toledo at the Waldport Skate Park on an unrelated call. Choat was highly intoxicated, and admitted to walking across the decoy police car. Choat was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged for Criminal Mischief in the second degree with a bail of $7,500.00.
