Summary:
On October 17, 2006 at about 10:44 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Lance Cummings was patrolling southbound on U.S. Hwy 101 near mile post 152 in Seal Rock when he observered a white Dodge pick-up cross over the fog line and nearly crash into the ditch directly in front of him. Deputy Cummings conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Belinda L. Harmon, age 35 of Waldport, Oregon.
Deputy Cummings immediately detected signs of impairment while contacting Ms. Harmon. Upon completing a DUII investigation Ms. Harmon was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Ms. Harmon provided a breath sample and her BAC was measured at .12%. Ms. Harmon was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and her bail was set at $7,500. Ms. Harmon also received a traffic citation for Driving While Suspended.
