Summary:

On July 24, 2006 Deputy Karl Vertner with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded on a report of a property damage hit and run in the Roads End area of Lincoln City. During the investigation a witness came forward with a license plate and vehicle description. The registered owner of the vehicle, Jana Louis Snelson age 59 of Neotsu could not be located during the investigation and an arrest warrant application was made.

On September 30, 2006 at 9:33 PM, Deputy Vertner contacted Jana Snelson at her residence and took her into custody on the warrant for Hit and Run. She was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was issued a citation for the offense with a bail amount of $15,000.00.
