Summary:

On September 24, 2006, Deputy David Boys of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to contact a Woodburn, OR resident regarding the theft of a cellular phone. At 8:30 AM, Deputy Boys contacted the complainant who reported his cellular phone was taken the day before from his hotel room at Salishan. He suspected a female who had attended a small social gathering at his room. At 10:00 AM, Deputy Boys contacted Laurie A. Walker, age 28 of Lincoln City, at an address on SE Neptune, Lincoln City, and took her statement. Walker had a cellular phone in her possession that matched the description of the missing phone. Walker was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged for Theft II, her bail was $7500.
