Summary:
On September 21, 2006 Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of milepost one of Logsden Rd. on a report of a single motor vehicle crash.
Deputy Colin Teem arrived on scene and contacted Siletz Fire Department personnel who were treating the driver, 20 year old Tiffany M. Lewelling, for serious injuries. Deputies conducted a traffic crash investigation and determined Lewelling was driving a 1988 red Toyota Supra at a high rate of speed west on Logsden Rd. Lewelling lost control of her vehicle on a corner and impacted a large fir tree off the eastbound shoulder of the roadway.
PacWest Ambulance transported Lewelling to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport for treatment.
