Summary:
On September 12, 2006, at about 1:08 AM, a Lincoln County Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to the Chitwood area on a welfare check of a crying and upset female. The deputy arrived and made contact with the female who had a fresh injury to her lower lip. A criminal investigation by the deputy revealed that Tommy Joe Reusch, age 50, of Chitwood, assaulted his domestic partner and placed her in fear for her safety. Reusch, who admitted to the deputy that he touched his girlfriend on the mouth with his ring, was arrested and transported to the Lincoln County Jail for the crimes of Assault IV Domestic and Domestic Menacing. Reusch's bail was set at $15,000.
