Summary:
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office had received several complaints of trespassing and vandalism from a business owner in Depoe Bay. The business owner reported someone was breaking into a building on his property. Deputy Beckwith had checked the building earlier in the evening and closed the doors. Later, the deputy checked the building and discovered the doors had been opened. While watching the building Deputy Beckwith observed a male juvenile damaging a Neighborhood Watch sign on Williams Avenue. The deputy observed the juvenile break the sign off. After a brief chase the deputy took the juvenile into custody. The juvenile was arrested for Criminal Mischief II and later released to his parents.
