Summary:
On July 29, 2006, at approximately 1:00 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy John Beckwith assisted an Oregon State Police Trooper who had two vehicles stopped on Hwy 101 at SW Hawkins, in Depoe Bay. The Trooper was conducting a DUII investigation on one of the drivers. Deputy Beckwith contacted the driver of the second vehicle and smelled a strong odor of alcohol and observed signs of impairment for that driver as well. A DUII investigation was conducted and Michael Martin Cutler, age 52 of Depoe Bay, was arrested. Mr. Cutler was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where his blood alcohol content was measured at .15%. Mr. Cutler was lodged on a $7500.00 bail. Mr. Cutler's vehicle was impounded.
