Summary:
On July 19, 2006 while traveling north on U.S. Hwy 101 near mile post 143 Deputy Lance Cummings observed a vehicle traveling south at a high rate of speed. The vehicle failed to dim its head lights as it passed. Deputy Cummings conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Sandra L. Willeford-Pankey, age 28, or Waldport, Oregon. Deputy Cummings detected signs of impairment and conducted a DUII investigation. Mrs. Willeford-Pankey was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Mrs. Willeford-Pankey provided a breath sample which measured at .15%. Mrs. Willeford-Pankey was lodged at the jail on $7,500 bail. Additionally, Ms. Willeford-Pankey's vehicle was impounded as a result of the arrest.
