Summary:
On July 01, 2006 about 7:00 PM, Sergeant Mark Meister of the Lincoln County Sheriff's was dispatched to an injury motor vehicle crash on Harlan Road 12 miles east of Elk City. The investigation revealed that Mark Richard Deignan, age 36 of Blodgett, was eastbound on a motorcycle when he negotiated a curve in the wrong lane. Deignan lost control of his motorcycle and collided with the front of an oncoming pick up truck. Deignan received a broken wrist and was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. There was no indication of intoxication of either driver in the crash. Enforcement action is pending.
