Summary:
On June 29, 2006 at about 8:39 AM, Deputy Davey was dispatched to a report of a two vehicle crash in the area of Sams Creek Road milepost 3.
Upon Deputy Davey's arrival it was determined the driver of one of the vehicles, Ronald Lafournaise of Newport, 27 years of age, was operating the vehicle while having his Oregon driving privileges suspended. Further investigation by Deputy Davey determined Lafournaise was driving while under the influence of intoxicants and Lafournaise was arrested at the scene. Lafournaise later submitted to a breath test which resulted in a .13% BAC. Lafournaise was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and his bail was set at $15,000.
