Summary:
On June 25, 2006 about 5:46 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Karl Vertner was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Logsden Rd near mile post 19.5. Deputy Vertner contacted, Donald Lee Lady age 34 of Albany. It was determined that Lady negotiated the curve in the wrong lane and hit the oncoming vehicle head-on. Deputy Vertner observed signs of impairment and conducted a DUII investigation. Lady was arrest for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he refused to provide a breath sample. Lady was charged with DUII, Reckless Driving, Criminal Mischief, and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample. His bail was set at $20,000. Lady's vehicle was impounded.
