Summary:
On 06/21/06 at about 10:43p.m., Deputy Chris Miller observed a white car fail to stop for a stop sign on Spring Street in Waldport and fail to use a turn signal as it turned from Spring Street onto Hwy. 34 heading east. Deputy Miller conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 34 and Broadway Street in Waldport.
The driver, Richard L. Walcker, 81 of Waldport was found to be intoxicated and was arrested by Deputy Miller. Walcker was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where his blood alcohol was tested and found to be .10%. Walcker was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and held on a $7,500 bail.
