Summary:
On June 21, 2006 at 1:15 a.m., Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Lance Cummings assisted Oregon State Police on a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy 101 near mile post 142.5 in South Beach, Oregon. A trooper had two vehicles stopped after receiving intoxicated driver complaints on both. Deputy Cummings made contact with the driver of one vehicle, identified as Zackery J. Morgan, age 21, of Philomath, Oregon and conducted a DUII investigation. Deputy Cummings recovered less than an ounce of marijuana from Mr. Mogan and arrested him for DUII. Mr. Morgan was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on one count of DUII. Mr. Morgan's bail was set at $7500.00. The trooper arrested the driver of the other vehicle for DUII and lodged him at jail as well.
