Summary:
Between May 14, 2006 and May 21, 2006 deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of nine separate residential burglaries in the South Beach, Oregon area.
Investigation by Sheriff's Deputies with the assistance of the Newport Police revealed suspect information in the case.
On May 31, 2006 Deputy Lance Cummings located and arrested Patrick Ball Jr., age 29, of Newport, Oregon on three counts of Burglary I, Theft I, two counts of Theft II and Criminal Mischief II. Patrick Ball Jr. was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on $347,500 bail.
A search warrant was served at the Summer Winds Motel, where Patrick Ball Jr. was staying. Property suspected of being stolen from the burglaries in South Beach was located during the search.
Investigation to continue by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
